The Prairie Farmers Market at Cherapa Place Saturday 8-2!!

Saturday market tomorrow at The Prairie Farmers Market @Cherapa Place 8-2!! Mary’s Kitchen and Gardens will have: Fresh Green Onions and Radishes, Great tasting Lettuce and Spinach!! Also bringing Rhubarb for your baking needs. Jams available: Strawberry-Rhubarb, Cherry-Rhubarb, Huckleberry, Apple Butter, Blueberry and Jalapeno Glaze. Salsa available as well. Excited to start getting Green Beans and Cucumbers so I can start making Pickles and Dilly Beans. Farm Fresh Cage Free Eggs will be available as well!! I am also bringing some bedding plants, mostly Tomatoes: Beefsteak, Big Beef Hybrid, Black Krim, Roma, Early Salad, Pineapple, a few Red and Yellow Pear as well.

Sioux Falls Made Friday and The Prairie Farmers Market at Cherapa Place on Saturday Morning

I have been baking ALOT the last few days getting ready for the Sioux Falls Made event Friday 11-7, The first market of the season at The Prairie Farmers Market at Cherapa Place. I will also be at Landscape Garden Center on Sat and Sunday from 11-5

Saturday at Cherapa Place: Lee will have some wonderful Green Onions, Radishes, Salad Greens and Spinach. Yes already!! He will also have some gorgeous Tomato Plants for you that are getting ready to plant your own Gardens. Also available Farm Fresh Eggs! Have a great weekend

Sioux Falls Made Market May 1st Mark your calendar!

I found out today that I was again invited to be a vendor at the Sioux Falls Made event on May 1st !! Had a great time in December and looking forward to the Spring event.. The Argus Leader sponsored the event and had a great turnout. Mark your calendars as you won’t want to miss seeing the homemade items from some really talented people In the area. Further information to come!! I wish this wind would settle down we are trying to get the plastic on Tunnel #2

Ist Annual Spring Fling Event Saturday 10-4 Hilton Garden Inn!!

We will be at the 1st Annual Spring Fling Event tomorrow (Saturday) from 1 Location is the Hilton Garden Inn on South Louise Avenue
10-4!! This is a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. You can check out the facebook page for the event and see all the really neat vendors that will be attending, a lot of homemade items you will want to see!!
We will be bringing an assortment of canned goods: Dill Pickles, Pickled Beets, Salsa, Pickled Banana Peppers. Jams and Jellies: …Strawberry-Rhubarb, Cherry-Rhubarb, Jalapeno, Apple Butter, Pear Preserves, Mango-Lime, Blueberry, and Huckleberry. Also bringing some Homemade Pasta Sauce: Great on your favorite Pasta, Add meat and other veggies. I also use it for Pizza Sauce and it tastes great!! For Baked Goods: I am bringing breads: Banana, Chocolate, and Huckleberry (This a new recipe and almost turned out like a coffee cake and very tasty) Apple Pie Bars and Texas Brownies. Another new recipe we tried out: Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread, another good recipe. Hope to see you tomorrow. Please spread the word about this fundraiser. Winter Market at 8th and RR 10-1 Last Market of the Season!!

Last Winter Market of the season. Tomorrow at 8th and RR 10-1 will be the last market of the season. You can enter on the east side of the shops. Stop down and stock up on some goodies for your Christmas Get Togethers or pick up a Gift Basket for a last minute gift. Also check out the other vendors and what they have available!
