Sunny and humid today!!

The gardens are still too wet to work in so we worked on the other To Do list: Yesterday we butchered all the roosters to make room for the baby chicks and the new chicks that will arrive next week. Thanks so much to Kirk and LeAnn for your help, Julie and Pat too. Thanks so very much to Tracie for helping out as well. Any daughter that will help butcher and clean chickens and then help clean o…ut chicken coops is a keeper for sure and would make a great farm wife!! Boys, Tracie is taking the lead in favorite child department right now! Also cleaned out the chicken coop today, cleaned up everything in the greenhouse. Hopefully tomorrow we can get back in the gardens and work on what we really need to get done. The plants are doing pretty well based on the amount of rain that we had but sure need a break and some heat to keep growing!
